MASUMI 2006 Montr al 4min DV with Masumi Kobari and Alex de la Cruz An author is looking for his muse, between dream and reality.Note : Modest homage toWong Kar Wai . Directed for the Montreal literature festival in 48 hours.I had just met Alex de la Cruz and Masumi was a friend with who i wanted to make a film.My vision was about 2 characters unable to meet , like in In the Mood for Love , this film should have to have a link with the literature too, so he would be an author like in 2046 .We worked closely together with the DOP, Eric Gauvin, Each shot was discussed, analysed, improved, i still thank my actors for their patience and in particulary Alex who took a cold bath at 4 in the morning.
