Here's an aerial shot (four days old) of the Langley Events Centre. To help you with the scale, I'll point out that those specks on the roof are people.The exposed wood beams are over the arena itself. The triple gymnasium is to the left, and the gymnastics centre is the top left. The banquet hall is directly below the roof where the people are standing. A number of us were at the Langley Events Centre site this morning to watch the first roof beam (all 60,000 pounds) be lifted into place. I'll post a picture later today....
