How do I install NewsMinr 1.0.0 for IE?
Download the application by clicking on the link above and install it according to the install instructions.
I've installed NewsMinr 1.0.0 for IE, but I can't find it in my browser.
It's there, it just might be hiding. Here are the directions for finding it:
Internet Explorer 6
Open up IE6, in the toolbar, look for this icon:
Internet Explorer 7
Open up IE7, in the toolbar, look for this icon: 
If you can't find it click Tools > Toolbars > Explorer Bar > VancouverIAM.
How do I get the icon into my my toolbar?
The icon will automatically install in your toolbar for IE6 and most versions of IE7. If you are using IE 7 and it doesn't install into your toolbar automatically: click Tools > Toolbars > Customize > select VancouverIAM icon > click move up > Close. If it still doesn't show, 'move up' again.

How do I publish articles using NewsMinr 1.0.0 for IE?
- Click the VancouverIAM icon in your toolbar (or find it under Tools) and login using your VancouverIAM username and password.
- Find the website with the news article you want to publish (remember, it's got to be about local issues or events).
- Your can drag 'n drop the article title and text from that webpage or write your own.
- Add photos or videos using the utility on the right. If images are available on the site, it will pull them into a carousel so and allow you to choose which ones you want to add with your article. Note that the first image you select will be the primary image displayed with the article. If no images are available, you can navigate to another site to find a photo, or publish it without a photo - other Vancouver AM members can add photos or videos to the article, or you can add them later throught the site.
