Police are looking for the owners of 1,500 bicycles recovered during raids last week on a shop, a home and storage garages. So far, more than 50 bicycles -- including one stolen eight years ago -- have been identified and returned to their rightful homes. The shop owner faces charges of theft, attempted theft, possession of stolen property and possession of tools for use in burglary. Cyclists often describe Toronto as a bike-theft capital of North America, but lockmaker Kryptonite says the city isn't even in the continent's top 10.
