Brazen Shootings in Vancouver Now Happening All Hours of the Day

A shooting in broad daylight near Bute and Davie sent a 21 year old man to hospital. Police managed to nab one suspect quickly after officers heard the gunfire just after 5pm.
The 25 year old was picked up by police a couple of blocks away and was found with a loaded handgun. This witness says a man got in to an altercation with another who was in a black Cadillac Escalade. He says one of them ran across the street and that's where a third man shot him in the leg.
"I gave my belt to tie it off so he wouldn't bleed to death."
Police say he will be OK. Constable Tim Fanning says they're still on the hunt for another suspect in the case.
"We believe we know who it is so we'll be looking for him."
Fanning says police are happy no bystanders were hurt. He says all three men are known to police but wouldn't elaborate, adding the victim is cooperating with police.
