A Kamloops man who displayed bizarre behaviour during three break-ins last summer, has been convicted of theft. Dubbed the Tickling Bandit, Murray Richmond was given 18 months' credit for time already served in custody and three years' probation.
In one break-in, a homeowner awoke to find Richmond tickling his feet and found his washing machine stuffed full of chips and cereal.
Richmond also broke into an 80-year-old man's home, claimed to be a nurse and stole items.
