"It's like the Superbowl, for girls."
That's how Shelley Klassen describes the excitement surrounding the highly-anticipated Friday premiere of Sex and the City, the movie.
Klassen is hosting a party and contest tonight at Blushing Boutique, where she sells her ultra-feminine dresses and other designs.

"The Friday night show is completely sold out. We're the only ones with tickets now," she says.
"We bought them a week and a half ago."
The only hitch to winning tickets from Klassen is that all the women have to wear their new Blushing outfits when the group heads out to the movie together on Friday night.
Klassen says she's taken fashion inspiration from Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, and each of the outfits suits one of the iconic characters on the show.
"You come in and you want to play a character? You can find that dress," she says.
In case you're not in need of a new dress, but still want to be among the first to see the film, VitaminV.ca is also holding a contest. Post your comments about Sex and the City to the website's forum and you'll be entered to win tickets to an exclusive early premiere Thursday and an "ultimate girls night out" that includes loads of indulgent treats.
Or, if you want to avoid the crowds and chaos, just rent a few episodes of the TV show, invite some friends over, make some martinis and plan to see the film later in the weekend.
